Tara is an amazing working partner, always taking on whatever I ask of her with enthusiasm and determination. Tara has proven herself in the competitive herding world, earning an AKC HC (Herding Championship) and an ASCA WTCH (Working Trial Champion). She also qualified for the 2023 MSSA (Mountain States Stockdog Association) National Finals in both sheep and cattle. In Obedience and Rally, Tara achieved her AKC Rally Championship, with a 1st place and a 99 point score in her final qualifying run for the title. She has also earned her AKC CD title. Along with these other achievements, Tara has earned an Open Standard Agility, Open Jumpers with Weaves, and Novice Fast Titles, which have qualified her to win a Versatility Champion Award from the BCSA. All of this at the young age of 5 years old! Tara is undeniably one of the highest titled female border collies in the USA.
